replying to u/thansal: Man, $150 for lunch is a lot for me, like, I couldn't do that at Minetta Tavern (who're open for lunch, take reservations, and if you want to get drunk, will do that for $150 w/ excellent food). I'll mention some of my favorite lunch options in Queens, but none (well, 1) of them are going to take (or need) reservations, nor will they get close to the $150 mark. * Adda - Excellent spicy Indian, only open for lunch on weekends, and they do take reservations. * Bolivian Llama Party - Bolivian sandwiches (or bowls), Saltemas (like soupy empanadas, not my favorite thing, but worth trying), excellent juices and nice ice cream in a nice outdoor seating area. That brisket is killer, but so's the pork. * Memories of Shanghai - My favorite soup dumplings in the city, but everything else they do is also great. I'm a fan of their strign beans, spicy pork noodles and the lion's head meat balls. Forest Hills is also a nice place to walk around. * Khao Kang and/or Khao Nom - A pair of excellent Thai restaurants. Khao Kang is a steam table place and they don't mess around w/ heat. Khao Nom is just around the corner and I love them for Thai Desserts, though they also have a full menu. Enjoy your week off :)

So good! I'll try the soup dumplings next time. There's also Forest Cafe a block and a half away on Burns St. Gets busy especially on a weekend, but I enjoyed the coffee.
