  • replying to u/Klutzy-Row-2244: Gonna be coming up next week. I’m gonna add some of these to my list! They look fantastic, especially the buns at Mei Lai Wah!

You can get a great char siu bao (bbq pork bun) at any Chinese bakery in Chinatown. Golden Manna, m&w, Tai pan bakery all have pineapple cha siu bao and much quicker to get in and out and deserve your business too!

  • Mango mochi from Tai Pan or Golden Manna is a nice not-too-sweet option for dessert.

  • replying to u/wensythe: Pretty sure you posted a photo of an ube spongie from Spongies Cafe as #9, and not a sponge cake from Kam Hing which are boat shaped. I clicked to see what #8 was and was disappointed to see it wasn’t good. Mochi and mango are so good together!

The Golden Manna mango mochi are really tasty.
