replying to u/MirthMannor: Williamsburg typically has more innovation in terms of cocktails. Maison Premier, Bar Madonna, Fresh Kills, etc, all have really smart takes on their menu.

replying to u/Gitmo17: - Fresh Kills in Williamsburg (no menu, custom cocktails based on what you’re in the mood for / describe) - Maison Premiere also in Williamsburg for martinis, not a hidden gem but excellent - The Richardson also in WB neighborhood spot with super high end bottles esp. whiskey and well executed classic cocktails - Bar Americano in Greenpoint (seems fairly standard / run of the mill but their execution is incredible) - Sama Street also in Greenpoint for interesting south East Asian ingredients - as others have suggested, Mayflower, Dynaco, and Lunatico in Bed-Stuy / Clinton Hill
