replying to u/crazeman: West Village. Joe's, Bleeker St, L'industrie, Mama Too are all slice shops within the neighborhood. John's there too but they're pies only. You can also walk off the pizza and walk \~20 mins to Lucia Pizza of SOHO. They're known for their Cream of Spinach slice. Personally I thought the Spinach slice was okay, definitely worth a try but not too crazy about it.

They do long pizzas when the zmsizws get bigger because no bite should be more than like 6" from the crust (no soggy middle on longer pizza). You can sit outside when it's nice and even see people line up next to Cinnabon for a slice at Joe's
