replying to u/xlaurenthead: I haven’t seen Osamil mentioned so I’ll throw that in as well; I love their uni bi bim bap and their squid fries. As for me, my very favorite Korean spot is a little gastropub on the 2nd floor of a sketchy bldg on W32nd called Itaewon Pocha. It just reminds me of those friendly places in the back alleys of Itaewon Seoul. Great food including beautiful crispy hot wings and squid with pork belly (O-ssam) that can’t be missed
