replying to u/contempt1: I went to school up there so would stop by Tom’s twice a month after all-nighters. It’s a solid normal diner. Can’t go wrong but also nothing special other than the famous name (Suzanne Vega made that place famous first) and then the exterior. What I used to love was ordering a lumberjack: sunny side up eggs, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, whole wheat toast (gotta be healthy), 2 pancakes and it was something like $8.

replying to u/DSii1983: Same. Was my go-to after writing a paper all night in Butler…stagger down to the corner and order alllllll the coffee and extra bacon with my eggs over easy. My favorite diner in that area though was actually the Metro Diner, which I believe was on 100th and Broadway. Not sure if it is still there.
