replying to u/thehalalguysguy: Q Halal on the NE corner of 83rd and 2nd in UES has a lot of competition nearby (including [Empire Halal](https://www.instagram.com/p/C2H6vstO99j/?img_index=1), [Friends](https://www.instagram.com/p/C3x0t9oxLoq/?img_index=1), 81st/5th, and [others](https://www.google.com/maps/d/u/0/edit?mid=1GN_Ln0mCAU7UEgORg9YgwJ3Phb4jSu4_&ll=40.79986976080209%2C-73.98986493086332&z=13). It’s better than most. The lamb is flavorful, falafel is top tier, and the veggies are super fresh. I preferred it to Empire, but between Q and Friends it’s a very tough choice and I’d give the slight advantage to Friends – the chicken was less dry and had more spices on it. Gone are the days of $5 halal plates, with this coming in at $10 for the mixed, but overall, Q Halal is a great plate and worth trying!
