replying to u/wildblueberry9: Have you been to other Georgian restaurants other than Chamamama? I've been there once and thought it was just OK compared to the places I've been in Brooklyn. I prefer Oda House over Chamamama if you want to stay in the city. But I see so many recommendations on this board that I'm wondering if those who love Chamamama have had other Georgian food. I don't know if I should give it another go or if people who love Chamamama have not tried other places and think that Chamamama is the best because they have no reference.

At that point I gave up. I think they were having staffing issues and literally had someone's mother cooking in the back which, coming in, I thought was charming. Would never go back.
