replying to u/Fangy_Yelly: Camillo in PLG. They specialize in roman cuisine and have many out of the ordinary italian dishes, like Pinsa, a type of pizza made with wheat and rice flour with a crispy crust. I honestly never get tired of my faves here. For appetizers I always get the Alici e Burro which is marinated anchovies on buttered bread. So simple yet so tasty. Also the Carciofi alla Giudia which is fried whole artichokes with fresh mint and lemon squeezed on top. The fry on these things is out of this world, so light and not greasy, and the mint and lemon brighten the flavor perfectly. I also really like the Zucca & Ricotta pinsa which is roasted squash, Parmigiano, guanciale, fresh ricotta, and truffle sauce. Unexpectedly tasty. They have many excellent Negroni(I like the Artichoke) but if you want something lighter the Rosemary Spritz is bomb.
