The food wasn’t necessarily anything mind blowing but the people there was great and there was a singer singing in I think Hindi and all the patrons were so excited about the songs and singing a long. First Jackson Heights experience was 10/10. Amdo Momos were insane with the sauces on top though. Still thinking about them.

replying to u/IWantYorkBitesBack: **Angel** can get plenty spicy if you ask. Most of the momo spots have quite spicy hot sauce - my favorite in terms of hot sauce is **Lhasa Fast Food**, though **Om Wok** has my favorite momo in the neighborhood. You've got to add the hot sauce yourself though, the food won't come spicy. To me, nobody outdoes the Thai restaurants in terms of pure heat. I've tried all the Thai places in JH and Elmhurst, and **Ayada** has gotten the spiciest out of any of them for me, though realistically you can feel the burn at any of them. Again, you have to ask for it, but they will actually do it!

Side note on the Momo Crawl: Om Wok versus Bhancha Ghar is my El Classico and they deserved to win this year. I’m rooting for Bhancha Ghar making a come back next year though!

replying to u/syncboy: If you have the time, make the trip out to Jackson Heights, Queens, and try Tibetan food. Phayul would be my recommendation. I also don't think there's a lot of American smoked meat in Europe; it's different that what you are used to. I would recommend Dinosaur BBQ in Harlem or Brooklyn to try that and make sure to get a lot of sides (Mac & cheese and collard greens especially).
