Is there anything you would recommend as an alternative that isn't going to be heavy? Same for Pisillo as well, I've put that there due to being in the Financial District.

I don't think it would be under $30, but I feel like one of the most obscure ones you will come across would be Maloya in Bushwick, which serves the cuisine of Reunion Island. Also, I would argue that some of the cuisines that you have listed are not purely one monolithic cuisine but rather have many regional cuisines within them. I mean, doesn't China have something like 59 distinct cuisines?
