replying to u/Appropriate-Tie-6524: L'industrie is near the nest in the city. But the wait could easily be 1 hour +. Mama's too is much much more reasonable, sometimes hardly any wait. I go to Mama's too more frequently than l'industrie. I also happen to like Ben's pizza. Not sure how Joe's became widely known and serves pizza that I think is indistinguishable from Ben's.

replying to u/Appropriate-Tie-6524: Emily. To some extent that is my list, but I'm from NY. So I've eaten so many NY Slices I am immune to their charms. I go to Scarr's a lot too. I go to L'industrie as well but mostly because I like the beer place Talea next door. Emmet's on Grove has become a bit of a scene, but they make a pretty solid Chicago pizza. That place in carrol gardens makes good pizza, but it's a pain in the ass to go to and I found the staff extremely rude. I love Paulie Gee's in Greenpoint. Although it's not as good as Roberta's, but Paulie has been working the restaurant every time I have been. I also like artichoke. Underrated pizza. Best vodka slice I can recall. You especially want to go to the burned down 14th Street location after midnight.
