replying to u/nowthatsefficiency: no longer with us but Num Pang, the original on 12th and University was constantly fantastic and high quality, but as they expanded the attention to detail slipped completely. When they changed their bread supplier away from Parisi it was the beginning of the end.
“You would LOVE Xe May by st marks. Not quite the same (without the OG fatty pork belly ), but I ate at Xe May almost everyday for six months after work until i left that gig and now it’s a monthly-ish spot since it’s out of the way for me.”
