replying to u/g0ldmist: Following. I spent several months in France and caneles are my favorite. Same boat as you too as I’ve been on the hunt and also been so frequently disappointed. The best I’ve had so far are from the Balthazar in NJ when I was in the area, though I assume the one in Soho would be sourced from the same bakery
