replying to u/cfcbk: In Sheepshead bay- please try Wheelers bar and restaurant. Its an old school bar with cheap drinks and open late (4am) but their food is absolutely underrated and amazing. Its mostly classic bar food with an italian flare but kitchen is open until 2am and they have some of the best wings in NYC and their roast beef sandwich (all the way) is incredible. This is a classic neighborhood place and its literally a bar and restaurant because they have a proper dining room and bar area. This is the kind of place that will never get proper recognition but is as neighborhood as it gets in Brooklyn
