Trailer Park Lounge

6.8/10American

AI-generated summary

Kitschy Chelsea bar where you eat off old car seats. The is well seasoned, the cheese tots get named a lot, and the cocktails are strong. People say it costs more than it should for what it is, and the are sloppy enough that regulars ask for a prep glove.

Trailer Park Lounge at 23rd near 8th is kitschy and tasty. Great tater tots!

Oooh trailer park lounge is a long-time favorite. Excellent space and the food is high ranking on the “cheap bar food to scarf down while sitting on an old car seat” scale.

Those are a couple of the [restaurants on this list](https://www.touchbistro.com/blog/the-25-most-unique-restaurant-concepts-in-nyc/), many of which would probably fit the bill (some of the restaurants are closed, though, so check first).

I actually have always been pleasantly surprised by Trailer Park Lounge's food. It's kinda expensive for what it is, but their chili cheese tots are killer and their burger is really well seasoned.

Ask for a prep glove to eat those sloppy ass nachos.
