  • replying to u/pastramimustardonly: Peppa's is like right around the corner from Katz's deli. People recommending Ms Lily's know they need to stop, last time I went the food was ok... honestly watered down from what I'm used to when it comes to Jamaican cuisine. NO just NO go up to Harlem or venture out to BK or BX and get some authentic

Miss Lillys tasted bland IMO, like if I tried to cook chicken and slathered some store bought Jerk Sauce on it

  • replying to u/Quantanamo-Bae: Lots of good places. Pylos is good greek, Crown Shy is a michelin place that might not break your budget, hen house is a cheapish fun shawarma place (but might not be a dinner vibe). Italian—ill leave that to someone else, but theres a lot of good spots. Gemma is my personal favorite but theres an incredible amount of good italian. Unique—Ms Lily’s is kind of a weird jamaican spot, but they charge 18% tip automatically with no warnings. Food is great though. Brindle Room has good burgers. Buenos Aires has good steaks. Depending on when your brother shows up, Death and Co is a great bar with a good food menu. Weekdays you’ll get a table for sure.

Love Miss Lily’s, great vibe, drinks and food!
