replying to u/que_tu_veux: The Commodore and Strange Flavor Burger Shack are probably my faves in the city. I've tried Win Son bakery (weirdly too sweet but their burger is amazing), Rowdy Rooster (good, but the bun is weird), Double Chicken Please (overhyped). The Palace in Greenpoint has a solid Popeyes knock off, but at $14 probably a little too pricey for what it is. Abe's Pagoda Bar also has a pretty solid sandwich and at happy hour you can get it for $8.
