replying to u/Party-Veterinarian60: To be fair, 30th and 8th is quite possibly the further thing from 'cute' as it's right in the thick of it and directly next to Penn Station lol. That said, Friedmans is fairly close to 30th and 8th and has good food, a nice interior and you'd be perfectly fine at 50 a head. Two other spots I might look into, but I can't personally speak to the experience as I've never been are: [Anytime Kitchen](https://www.yelp.com/biz/anytime-kitchen-new-york-2) - I've heard great things, amazing reviews [CI Siamo](https://www.yelp.com/biz/ci-siamo-new-york-5) - Little bit removed from the chaos of 8th, seems a bit more expensive and have also heard good things Also, if you like pizza you could totally check out [NY Pizza Suprema](https://www.yelp.com/biz/ny-pizza-suprema-new-york). Call me crazy, but if you're never in Manhattan I might come here first with the fam and split an upside slice (maybe one more depending on how full you're willing to feel) as an app and then hit a restaurant. IMO NY Pizza Suprema is one of (if not the best) slices in the city. It has gotten more expensive though than your typical pizza
