  • replying to u/tfrisinger: I was curious about this a well. Usually try to avoid that area at all cost. Anyone really like this place?

The fish and shrimp was pretty nicely fried. I got one of the loaded fries, and it was pretty soggy by the time I got it. Not sure if it's because it's "too loaded" or if they just need to time them better in the kitchen but really disappointing for $8 fries.

I’m British and it’s the best fish and chips I’ve had in 5 years the US. Freshly fried, crispy. The chips aren’t chippy chips, but still good!

  • Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips, exceeded expectations. Food was damn good, but service was rubbish.

  • replying to u/Pretend_Gene6139: I’m assuming the Gordon Ramsay place is a tourist trap? As a Brit I really enjoyed Dame’s however it’s soooooo expensive for fish & chips, it’s hard to get a res and if I went back I’d rather get a different fish dish.

The Gordon Ramsay spot wasn't bad. Felt like my loaded fries got soggy ridiculously quick though, like as soon as I got it.

I have had it a few times, it’s pretty good. The shrimp are also good.

  • replying to u/LordRaison: Since others have made the usual recommendations, Gordon Ramsey opened one of his Fish & Chips Shop in Times Square, it's supposed to be pretty good, and they have a biscoff milkshake.

It bears zero resemblance to British fish n chips though. Fish lacks flavour and chips or like fries.

  • Gordon Ramsay fish and chips isn't bad for what it is. Make sure you get the mango curry sauce.

It was perfectly acceptable fast casual fish and chips. It wasn't great, it certainly wasn't terrible, but there's zero reason to go out of your way to try it.

  • replying to u/Maximum_Information7: A Salt and Battery, very disappointing. Maybe my expectations were too high, and maybe the fryer had an off day. I'll give it a second try though. Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips, exceeded expectations. Food was damn good, but service was rubbish. Management was missing. Seriously, the menu behind the cashiers was incomplete; I had to walk oustide to check out the menu on the door to order my food, and the staff were clueless. The Chip Shop and The Atlantic Chip Shop were tops in NYC until they disappeared. damn shame. Fizzy lemondade and fizzy ribena. deep fried snickers. Fish and Chips were authentic. Welsh Rarebit. mushy peas done proper. sigh...

Gordon Ramsey fish and chips was surprisingly good for us as well. I went with a friend more for a laugh than anything else, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality!

I’ve been to the one in Orlando a couple times. Pretty good actually.
