replying to u/jesslane87: No single best bakery, but there’s a stretch in Tribeca where there are 5 good ones all within a few blocks of each other and each with something great: grandaisy (flat breads), rigor hill (savory pastries), frenchette bakery (croissants), Billy’s (cupcakes), takahashi bakery. I think Duane park patisserie might have closed but if not, that’s also great especially considering 10yo (cookies and baked sweets). Could hit many or even all in an hour or 2.
