replying to u/Dammit_felicia18: What type of food? Claud is one of my favorite restaurants, but doesn’t get that hype that some of the other restaurants get. 4 horseman in Brooklyn is amazing. Torrissi for Italian is great, but good luck getting a reservation—you could probably get a seat at the bar if you go around 6pm during the week.

replying to u/SultrySashimi: How about Acru in West Village they have a reasonable tasting menu- too new for stars but the sous chef came from Atomix (multiple stars). You can order a la carte as well to eliminate any meat options. Or Ilis in Brooklyn from Mads Refslund of Noma they have multiple price points. Time & Tide has good seafood- also too new for stars but the chef was a Top Chef winner and came from starred restaurants (Crown Shy etc). 63 Clinton on your list is also a good option! Oceana in Midtown has a star and known for seafood but it’s kind of dull/corporate.
