King of Shawarma and Falafel in Astoria is supposed to be the best in the city, but if you go to the brick and mortar instead of a truck, be warned their interior decorating sensibility is unique. (I get the political message they’re going for, but I do not want to eat my lunch next to a mural of press getting shot and children cowering)
