    replying to u/Beneficial-Salt-8522: On the cheap and casual end, I’ve been a fan of haandi for close to 25 years. When I first moved to nyc, money was tight so I would spend many of my lunch hours at the all u can eat Buffett. Again, this isn’t pongal but it’s tasty, consistent and affordable

    replying to u/Patient_Bad5862: Came here to say this….I have been a regular for 20 plus years and I always leave satisfied. The all u can eat lunch buffet is a nice change of pace so I would check it out in addition to the regular upstairs menu

    replying to u/paulderev: just want to mention that if you feel like something other than korean food there are actual cabbie restaurants/delis in nyc like desi deli on 10th ave and punjabi grocery and deli on the LES where 1st street merges with houston. great food, fast, simple, cheap.
