replying to u/Accomplished-Love395: Places with reservations are usually shit anyways. Go to H.K Wonton Garden its in chinatown. My family has been going there for 3 generations. Anyone you bring there will never forget it the food is amazing. I recommend you have to try the steamed wontons with oyster sauce, fried wontons with shrimp, beef fried rice, tender beef stew with beef tendents with cantanese style lo-mein. The lo-mein is crazy good. Its not the fanciest place the planet but its really nice and im sure your friends have been to those kind of places so many times that charge you extra for atmosphere and fancy lights. Its a genuine NYC restaurant thats been here for a long time and will give your friends an authentic NYC experience.
