  • Now their Kung Pao is really good. There are no sichaun peppercorns which I don’t like but good spice level, excellent sauce, perfect amount of ginger and not a ton of wokhei but there’s a little bit.

  • replying to u/manicakes1: Szechuan Mountain House remains the king IMO. I've also enjoyed Lunar, though my Chinese friend informed me it is not strictly Szechuan, but Chongqing specific cuisine. Uluh is great too but I've been told it is more Hunanese influenced.

  • They’re all great, tbh. I feel like Lunar is the least well known of the bunch. I like it a lot. Swedish minimalist decor with authentic Chongqing food.
