replying to u/bbeeebb: There certainly aren't a lot of diners left in NYC. So maybe you could extend beyond UES, and give us some insight in the other neighborhoods. I just, coincidently, walked by Golden Diner about an hour ago. There was a line half way around the block. I've never been; but seems like it's more 'nouveau diner'? I don't know. I just miss good ole' cheap diners.
