    replying to u/eldersveld: It probably helps that I'm originally from Iowa and have an appreciation for a wide variety of pizza styles, including the Quad-Cities' own, Chicago, St. Louis, and New Haven. Hell, I even tried LaRosa's (a Cincinnati chain) at Edward's in Tribeca. "Why get *that* in NYC?" people asked. "Because it's an exotic item here" is the answer. The folks in the Cincy sub seemed rather less affectionate toward LaRosa's than Marylanders do toward Ledo. I posted about Ledo's midtown location a while back and some people commanded me to get whole pies only, for the sake of freshness. Since I usually dine solo, that ain't happening, but if the NYC version of Ledo's is good about keeping fresh slices available then it wouldn't matter. I guess I cheated by getting there shortly after they opened.
