replying to u/doopdooopdope: Just left and for my free ticket I think it was worth it. My #1 complaint was that a lot of the restaurants were serving portions that were just too big. Banh Ahn Em was selling nearly full sized Banh mi sandwiches, that’s not really ideal if you’re wanting to try a bunch of spots out. If you went with someone obviously it’s a bit more manageable. Thought BKK had the best food I tried, which was a pork belly (I think?) over rice with a bunch of crispy bits.

replying to u/jaded_toast: I also know it as "hor mok", but I've seen it go by so many different names. The last time I got it at Ugly Baby, it was called "mok hed" and the last restaurant I got it from called it "mok kala", so I went with "custard curry" just as the most broad descriptor.
