  • I just had the bahn mi on a whim ( I was hungry and lazy) and it was really good! the broth was fresher than I remember and the use of culantro rather than cilantro really brought some complexity to the brisket 10/10 would recommend

  • replying to u/DreadSteed: It's fast casual and scratches an itch that is severely lacking. There are almost no vietnamese restaurants in the neighborhoods they serve.

    the brisket pho is solid

It's not amazing, I wouldn't take my parents to eat it, but when i'm hungry and want to spend under 20 bucks on lunch (which is kinda the norm these days) I'll just walk over to lucy's

I like their banh mi quite a bit. is it my favorite sandwich ever? not really. do I crush one every couple of weeks because it's tasty, convenient, priced decently (all relative), and a good amount of food? Absolutely.

I order the pho at least once a week, sometimes more. It is also a very generous filling portion for the price!

  • replying to u/TheOldRamDangle: More people’s opinions on it and expansion isn’t always based on quality. It is crazy how quickly this mediocre spot is expanding so I question if I am the one missing something

I find them incredibly mediocre, and I've also gotten clearly bad tofu with black mold on it from them once in my pho.

  • replying to u/aGirlHasNoTab: probably because it’s a good vegan option ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Their tofu is awful
