I live in the area, so I went a few times right when they first opened and they had interesting dishes (like the crespelle and that seafood stew). Went back recently and the menu was so basic and boring, and the food wasn't good. Plus people were clearly there for the \~vibe\~. Apparently, the original chef left, so I think that's what led to the decline.

replying to u/loydhope3: The correct answer is I Sodi. I think they recently changed locations or opened another? Would be bummed if that were the case. But regardless a tricky res and very good. It has been considered a top spot for a year or so now. For obvious reasons carbone is played, and I agree that lilia and misi are a step down. Jean’s is a club on Lafayette and they’re about to open their upstairs restaurant, will be an insufferable scene but the menu looks Italian. I fear it’ll be actually good. Anyways yeah, I Sodi.
