replying to u/aspiring-green-thumb: I am SUPER impressed with this post!!!!! As an ex Fordham alumni, I love that I see Arthur Ave spots on here!! If you get to go back, I’d highly suggest PUGSLEYS (chicken roll and plain slice with their spicy chili oil - you have to ask at the counter for this) and fresh filled cannolis + rainbow cookies at Madonia Bakery. Since I’m based in EV, I’m stoked to see The Pastry Box and Andrea’s Pizza here as well, they deserve all the love. My husband loves chocolate chip cookies and you did right with Wegmans and The Pastry Box. Well done!!!!!!

replying to u/Ok_Jackfruit_5181: If you want a real good Italian food tour, go to the Bronx around Arthur Ave. Grab lunch at Casa Della Mozzarella. Stick around and check out the butchers, bakeries, and market. Stick around for a few drinks at the bar in the market, maybe grab a cigar, then get dinner at Roberto's for a bit more contemporary Italian or Tra Di Noi for a more laid-back Italian American classic.
