They are one of those places that are well known among cocktail circles that influencers don't know about yet. Your hotel is in midtown, which is one of the most expensive places in the city, because its a commercial area and most bars there are over priced. I will say that 19-21$ is the going price for cocktails in New York city right now, however I will also say that the the best cocktail bars in the city (arguably the world) charge at that price point. So if you are going to go for cocktails go to those places for special occasion drinks: Attaboy, Katana Kitten, Super Bueno, Double Chicken, Dead Rabbit, Bar Moga, NR, Death and Co, Dante etc.
