replying to u/ThatCaviarIsAGarnish: On Thursday I had waffle fries at Ruby's (Coney Island). I was pleasantly surprised at how good they were, as I hadn't been expecting much. For regular french fries, I've had really good ones this year in Brooklyn at the Double Windsor (Windsor Terrace) and at Gowanus Gardens (Gowanus).
