replying to u/mulleargian: Irish… sadly I wouldn’t say there is any excellent appropriation of it. But we’re not well known for our food. The Dead Rabbit is alright for overpriced/fancified Irish food, however it wouldn’t be passable in Ireland itself. Honestly I live in New York to have access to the food of many different cultures with much cuisine than that I’d get back home, so I’m not sore on it. Except when I’m really hungover and badly want an ‘Irish Chinese’, or when I have the flu and want Irish chicken soup.
