  • replying to u/Independent_Star_370: Figaro. Had dinner there with a small group a few months ago. We got up and left after not receiving any of our food after 90 mins. And that was after waiting 30 mins to get our drinks. We paid for the drinks, cancelled our food order and left. The "manager" seemed surprised that we were leaving. Never again.

The meal was as bad if not worse than the first one. They got a new 2-star Google review (again I suggested 1).

  • After a very underwhelming dinner at Figaro on Bleecker (meh food, bad service), followed by my partner and I both getting sick later that evening

  • To get a C in the food industry, you must ignore all the warnings and literally blind yourself from visible flaws.

  • I only really see people there order an aperol spritz with hardly any food, so it's not shocking they don't really do kitchen upkeep.

  • Went back recently for dinner and it was godawful. Did not get sick, luckily, but the food was just bizarrely terrible

We were surprised at how bad it was considering they market themselves as an upscale eatery.

  • I can't say things were bad but something wasn't right so I just gave up at one point and drank only. And then went across the street and got food.
