There is no good mulnaengmyun in NJ, although Wooga is serviceable) - Homung for taste, Sambong for value (their Chung Gook Jang is also great) 5. Best Gamjatang - Ebadom 6. replying to u/ThenAd9126: I consider myself a giant food snob and I agree or at least understand why you chose it. Personally, I think dong bang grill marinated galbi is elite level status. Wooga for non marinated meats. I loved Jeong Yook when it used to be Kanghodong Baekjeong. Try the donkatsu at the newly opened Broad Bunshik. You have to eat in the restaurant, because the restaurant packs the katsu in while its piping hot in the container so it makes it soggy. The ddukbokki is great too. I am in love with the nice grandma that works at Grandsma's Bapsang. Others are not too particular about it because they find it too bland, but with their soy based sauce, the kalguksoo is honestly underrated imo. It has good balance and gives you that feeling of recovery. Korean Chinese, I would honestly disagree with your choice. Ah suh won, the sauce is too oily and it doesn't stick well with the noodle, but then again, I think there is no good black bean noodle in the Bergen County area. Seafood noodle soup, is by far Gyeonghoeru. The price, the depth of flavor, portion size is just 10/10. I do not even opt for seafood noodle soup usually, but this place is great. I would HIGHLY recommend the seafood noodle soup combo with the fried squid. You will thank me later. I am not a fan of the frozen dumplings in the area, except for this one butcher shop that has frozen dumplings themselves. They are all handmade and with nice quality ingredients. “In Fort Lee I usually go for spots like So Kong Dong (classic soon tofu), Wooga for KBBQ, or even some of the smaller mom-and-pop places along Main Street. It feels way closer to what you’d get in Korea.”

“Fort Lee and Pal Park are definite contenders when it comes to Korean food. I would say Sa Rit Gol, Busan Gukbap, Grandmas Bapsang, Soram, Obaltan, Wooga, and Gopchang Story's Fort Lee location are all above average.”
