replying to u/SlateFrost: They’re pulling the shot better. Lots of places use genuinely good, fresh coffee, then pull a completely ass shot of espresso with it. The only places I’ve had recently that were similarly good espresso shots were St Kilda and Sey coffee. If you’re looking for a solid drink, try those!

Maybe after trying more beans I’ll detect more nuances when drinking and be willing to shell out for their espresso flight, but as of now the drinks were merely regular coffee to me. The cappuccino was good but nothing outstanding, and the latte was more of the same.
