I would put this one below Brown Bag and Poulet Sans Tête, but far above Lenwich. It's got roast turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, gravy, and mayo. The amount of turkey and the inclusion of gravy in the sandwich itself mean that what you mostly taste are turkey and gravy—the cranberry and stuffing are there, but a bit muted. The mayo adds richness, but I'd say it isn't really necessary. Overall, a solid effort, and a good option for folks in Astoria/LIC/Greenpoint that don't feel like trekking elsewhere.

Then you gotta wonder why are sandwiches the vodka and tequila of the mid 2020s, where people are lining up to put their names on things. These 2 ideas work in tandem to create a pretty gross 10 year forecast. I don't know what Salt Hank is, but the sandwich seems well made and in the price ballpark of every major comparator (at sit down spots, though). People will bring up Roll n Roaster and $10 but they are not similar. Then there are the sandwiches of Bradley Cooper, who everyone knows. Reasonably priced and well received, hate the line and appreciate the collab brought a taste of Angelo's from 3 hours away. Nobody knows Joe DeRosa, the Vile Horrendous, but go look at the prices on Joey Roses sandwich and drinks lineup and tell me it isn't an asset to it's neighborhood. It's easy to hate hype, but when lines cool (for the first 2 concepts), and quality is still good, why not grab a bite before leases end and they disappear.
