replying to u/realcoolfriend: Would love to see a thread of similarly priced spots. For folks in FiDi, Jubilee Marketplace on John St does breakfast sandwiches for $5 until 11am. You can get a bagel or a roll and they don't skimp on the meat in my experience.

replying to u/JayMoots: Sam’s Falafel Cart in Zuccotti Park is a local legend. My other pro-tip for a quick, not-too-expensive meal is Hudson Eats in Brookfield Place. It’s basically an upscale mall food court with some local chains, lots of natural light and great views.
