Roberto's

8.3/10Italian

AI-generated summary

People call it the best restaurant on Arthur Avenue by a clear margin. The food is from the Salerno region, just south of Naples. Regulars say order off the specials board and ignore the regular menu. Tables are hard to get, so book a few days ahead, and they don't open until 5.

  • My go-tos on Arthur Ave are Zero Otto Nove (semi-casual, spacious, family friendly, specializes in food from Naples) and Robertos (more celebratory and adult but not really formal, packed on Saturdays when they really crowd in the tables, specializes in food from Salerno).

  • replying to u/daniel_the_maniel: Arthur Ave truly is the real little Italy, can’t go wrong with any of the staples up there. Rafele is a great under the radar Italian spot on 7th Avenue in the Village, food is great / reasonable and you can always get a table.

Roberto's off Arthur Avenue if that's in your price range

  • I grew up in the Bronx and have regularly gone to Arthur Ave for amazing food. Many red spots in the area. Highly recommend Zero Otto Nove, Tra Di Noi, Roberto’s, Dominick’s, and Enzo’s.
