replying to u/Tejon_Melero: I've had kaiten style in landlocked states better than every Kura/competitor in NY. The NY versions are the worst I've seen, and the gotcha toys are enough to keep the seats packed with people willing to slop on shit sushi.

replying to u/phoenixmatrix: Nothing exotic but Sugarfish isn't bad for the price. I also really enjoyed Kura Sushi in Flushing. Conveyor belt sushi, and it's quite good. You pay by the plate so its easy to keep your bill whatever yuo want. When we went, we stuffed our face for 2 and it ran $100~ total.

replying to u/RolledAGWFBadIdea: I tried the new conveyor belt sushi Kaiten Zushi during their Grand Opening and it was terrible. Quality worse than AYCE Sushi. It's not a typical conveyor belt experience. You can only order 4 things at a time that show up some time between whenever and never. For some peculiar reason they had people queuing up outside even though by the time I was done several tables had cleared up. Perhaps it's because they couldn't handle the volume as it is. Lots of fake reviews and Socia Media shills further strengthens my hate for the place too.
