replying to u/jesxa: Closer to Penn, I’d recommend Mercato — a super cute little corner with rustic brick and solid pasta. Bottino (closer to Chelsea) is also a good Italian spot (I had my engagement dinner there!) and the outdoor dining in the yard should be quite lovely this time of the year, the weather has been so nice 🍂 Junmen is a good spot if you’re feelin Asian, and of course would recommend Juban for drinks but that’s more of an evening affair :) cute sense of Chelsea is really pretty with good healthy options as well. Bluestone Lane in the Eugene building is a good option for a casual no fuss lunch in a comfortable setting

I use to preorder on my app several blocks away for a basic iced coffee and still have to wait several minutes at the counter. It’s incredibly slow. I sat on a sidewalk table for a weekday lunch. I wasn’t in a rush so I didn’t rush them either. The meal took an hour and a half to order, get my food, send back one of the sandwiches because it was a different one from what I ordered, wait for the bill etc. the other sandwich was wrong too but close enough to the original order that I didn’t both complaining
