Octo

5.3/10ChineseKorean

AI-generated summary

People argue about Octo. The is the safe order and a few call it their go to in the city. The runs sweet and uses the wrong , the tangsuyuk gets called some of the worst around, and the disappoints anyone expecting the Chinatown version. Rude service comes up often.

  • The sauce in the pork was a little too thick and didn’t coat the pork well, otherwise no real complaints. The noodles were very fresh and had the right “Q”.

  • the sauce was salty but the noodle was bland. Mostly, the staff was rude so I don’t think I would ever go back to this place.

their jjajangmyun is not that good -- coming from someone who's first meal back home to koreatown in TX is always jjajangmyun.

Their tangsooyook is one of the worst I’ve had in my life. Actually I think it was the worst. And I’ve had a LOT.

The skin wasn't crispy and the duck meat was ok but not very flavorful.

It was a mistake to expect a Peking duck experience from a Korean-Chinese fusion place. It was duck dish, but no where close to what I’m looking for.

Honestly the standards for jjajangmyun is so low in Manhattan K-town, it might be the best one there.
