replying to u/Ok_Appearance3220: Aromi was excellent we had the special spicy sausage pizza which was delicious - crispy but chewy crust, well cooked, just the right amount of cheese (some fresh kind whose name I don’t quite catch) orchiette with broccoli raab and sausage was very good too somehow our favorite dish was the radicchio salad which was light, crisp, nutty and not too bitter thanks for the recommendation

replying to u/MrCakemeat: Frankie’s 457 Spuntino gets a lot of love on here. I find their menu very uneven but the cavatelli with sausage is great. Cafe Spaghetti is way better imo but other side of Carroll Gardens and can sometimes be difficult to get a table. Buttermilk Channel is a classic, though will be more brunch than lunch and also may be a wait. Boran is a hidden gem, great and unapologetically authentic Thai food, so I’d only go if you’re ok with strong flavors and some heat. UnTable is another, new Thai place that is supposed to be great though I haven’t been yet.
