Most people here say the is bad. It comes out watery and tastes like almost nothing, and more than one person called it a small step up from Starbucks at best. The shops look good and a few people defend the and the strawberry milk version. People mostly go for the look.

  • I tried cha cha matcha and did not like it at all, it looks nice inside but it was so watered down and legit tasted like nothing even sweetned 💀

  • replying to u/thansal: What's controversial about cha cha matcha? I've only ever seen people rave about it. Prince Street certainly is a solid option. If we were to abstract a bit, every popular pizza place could be labeled as 'controversial', though for different reasons than Prince Street. How about Nusr-Et? The very definition of fuck boy conspicuous consumption, and yet he has TWO locations going strong in NYC alone. Also, regular reports of them treating staff like shit (around the world!). Sticking to steak, Peter Luger. Plenty of people still swear by it, while many people swear at it. If we want to round back to politics there's the fact that The Smith has a Sackler as part owner.

Their matcha quality is very mid.

I barely consider it matcha so I didn't include it. It's a step-up from Starbucks at best

  • replying to u/Defeated-925: The draft matcha at cha cha matcha is so good. Been going everyday the one in soho and then walk over to la cabra for a croissant. If I’m dumbo go to 4f / cha cha at time out market.

Draft Matcha at cha-cha is great
