replying to u/scrubjay98111: Juice cart on Brighton 7th st called “healthy way to start your day.” Owner is an angel, can get anything you like off menu - I usually go for cantaloupe cucumber lemon or pineapple orange ginger. Toné Cafe, Georgian restaurant on Neptune Ave. the salad with walnut dressing and all of the eggplant dishes are amazing (actually everything there is great but some of the meaty or cheesy dishes might feel heavy for such hot days). Also like the hot bar at Gold Label, it’s a little less overwhelming for me than Tashkent and is still delicious/great selection.

replying to u/scrubjay98111: At Taste Good in Elmhurst, there’s a dish called ‘four seasons’ (or something similar!) that is broad beans, okra and eggplant in a tomato/shrimp/chili sambal. It is one of my top favorite vegetable dishes I’ve ever eaten!!

replying to u/Able_Ad5182: Some good choices on tht list. I live near Marani and it's by far one of my faves in the whole city. Taste of samarkand or any pof the uzbek places in rego park are fun too. I just went to Karczma for the first time in years. For doubles I prefer Singh's or trinciti. Georgia Tone Cafe in Brighton is really good. Try tibet cafe next to Cortelyou rd station on the Q or there are equivalent tibetan plces on roosevelt in jackson heights.

replying to u/wildblueberry9: Have you been to other Georgian restaurants other than Chamamama? I've been there once and thought it was just OK compared to the places I've been in Brooklyn. I prefer Oda House over Chamamama if you want to stay in the city. But I see so many recommendations on this board that I'm wondering if those who love Chamamama have had other Georgian food. I don't know if I should give it another go or if people who love Chamamama have not tried other places and think that Chamamama is the best because they have no reference.
