  • replying to u/Andarel: Did Decoy also reopen or just the upstairs? Decoy had phenomenal duck, though figure it was the same kitchen the downstairs was more focused on it

Unfortunately their prices went way up, but their food's always been great.

I stopped by Decoy after failing to secure a seat at Jeju one night and was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of their duck.

  • replying to u/manicakes1: Most of those places are serving roast duck, carved like Peking duck. It is delicious but it’s not authentic Peking duck. For the real deal Hutong is supposed to be legit. I’ve been to Decoy and thought it was good.

Decoy is not great imo, especially for the price.

  • replying to u/FormallyKnownAs: I would love to hear as well. Before covid, they had the best duck in town. Since then, I've gone to the Redfarm along the UWS and it was really disappointing. What made their duck so great was the high quality, juicy meat. It was comparable to the best places in Hong Kong. I'm cautiously hopefully they'll pick up their game...

I thought decoy was a bit dry.
