    replying to u/MurrayPloppins: Four Horsemen is straight up my favorite restaurant in the city. Maison Premiere does exceptional absinthe-featuring cocktails with an exceptional seafood program. Best Pizza is a hidden gem, really exceptional veggie slice. Birds of a Feather does Chinese and particularly Sichuan food in a way I’ve never seen elsewhere- try the eggplant with garlic sauce. Birria Landia is perfect for a late night consommé in the winter. If you’re going fancy, Aska is great for a Nordic-inspired tasting menu. I’ve seen it mentioned elsewhere, but Santa Fe BK deserves a shoutout for their breakfast burrito and coffee. St Anselm’a butcher’s steak is as good a deal as I’ve seen for a steakhouse, ever. And their pot de creme is among my favorite desserts anywhere. Bamonte’s is a nice classic red sauce spot- old school Italian. Shota Omakase opened recently and is a respectable addition to the high end sushi scene. Laser Wolf is a bit scene-y, but the salatim and the view are worth visiting for. Atithi is my go-to for Indian delivery- somewhat pricy but very well done.
