replying to u/asmolkittenkat: Came here to say Wawa, but I don’t think they’d have the same atmosphere in NYC. For me, that’s a big part of what makes it special. There’s something so comforting about pouring your own morning coffee and being amongst others doing the same.

replying to u/Ill_Opinion_4808: Whataburger honey butter chicken biscuits. I know you can get similar things at Jacob’s Pickles and Pies and Thighs, but I like how whataburger’s is smaller and more compact so I can eat it all in one sitting. Also, I wish there were Wawas in the city

replying to u/hijklmnopqrstuvwx: My take is in Australia, there's few chain stores like Starbucks / Dunkin and the focus is on small cafes that serve espresso based drinks with light meals (Bluestone is a perfect example of what a cafe in Melbourne would look like) versus grab and go drip coffee.
